Responsibilities:
Act as a point of contact for patients seeking dental treatment and consultations.
Welcome and greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients, discussing their dental concerns, treatment options, and associated costs.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and financial considerations.
Present treatment plans to patients, ensuring they understand the recommended procedures, associated benefits, and potential risks.
Address patients' questions, concerns, and objections, providing clear and concise explanations to promote trust and confidence in the treatment plan.
Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients, maximizing the efficiency of the dental practice while accommodating patients' preferences and availability.
Manage patients' insurance claims and financial arrangements, verifying coverage, explaining payment options, and facilitating the necessary paperwork.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and other relevant information in compliance with privacy regulations.
Foster strong relationships with patients, cultivating loyalty and trust to encourage ongoing oral health care.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in dental administration is preferred.
Proven experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or similar role within a dental practice.
In-depth knowledge of dental terminology, treatment procedures, and insurance practices.
Proficient in using dental practice management software and scheduling systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and address their concerns effectively.
Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Empathetic and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to provide excellent patient care.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
