Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical setting and ensure the smooth flow of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner - Schedule new patient appointments and follow-ups - Maintain patient records and update information accurately - Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient care - Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly - Verify insurance coverage and process billing information - Assist with medical office tasks as needed including but not limited to creating and maintaining spreadsheets, preparing letters, assisting with billing and checking insurance benefits.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in medical administrative support or similar role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Familiarity with dental or medical office operations or medical billing is a strong plus - Excellent computer skills - Proficient in office software applications (e.
g.
, MS Office, Excel, Google Docs) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Professional demeanor, team player, able to thrive in a sometimes fast-paced enviroment - Looking for someone with strong work ethic, ability to arrive to office on time and work efficently throughout their shift - Must have no physical or mental disabilities that would interfere with work duties or impair attendence.
