Youth Development Specialist - After School Daycare - part time

Hephzibah Children's Association has been helping children thrive and families flourish through innovative community-based programs for more than one hundred twenty five years.
There are multiple programs including our after school and summer day care programs for elementary aged students.
The After School Day Care program has immedidate openings for individuals to provide care and supervision of 5-11 year old (children in kindergarten through 5th grade) onsite at an Oak Park elementary school.
Days and hours are Monday - Friday, 2:
30-6:
00 pm with an earlier start (2:
00 pm) on Wednesdays.
May work additional hours on school holidays, and to attend meetings.
Responsibilities include supervising children during indoor and outdoor free play, supervising games and sports, homework help, snack and other activities.
Requirements include:
Experience working with children High school diploma or equivalent Six semester hours in education, recreation, social work, or related college courses desired, but not requied Sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences in the staff and client populations.
