PetVets Animal Hospital is AAHA and fear-free certified with over 25 years in our community.
We're seeking to add a few more experienced veterinary technicians, CVTs, and RVTs to our existing staff.
Our progressive, fast-paced clinic is located in historic Oak Park with great clientele and amazing staff only minutes from Chicago! We're an expanding 6-vet hospital that offers state-of-the-art care including laser therapy, laser surgery, a wide range of rehabilitation therapy, internal medicine, digital radiology & ultrasonography, behavioral medicine and more.
We always strive to be at the forefront of the latest and best practices and protocols for the treatment of our patients and for our staff as well.

About the job:
Our veterinary technician jobs are full-time positions, (38 hours a week, alternating Saturdays 9am-3pm, no Sundays), with excellent salary and benefits such as matching 401K, medical & dental insurance, paid CE and CE time, paid licensing and fees, employee pet perks & discounts, paid lunch breaks, and paid sick & vacation with lots of room for professional and personal growth! Our veterinary technician, CVT, RVT duties Include but are not limited to:
Effective communication with & between staff, vets, & clients Triaging patients and Client communication Assisting with surgery/equipment Performing in house labs, urinalysis, microscopy Animal restraint and handling - We are fear-free certified Venipuncture/Placing IVC Performing radiographs Administering medications/monitoring hospitalized patients Vaccinating, bandage application & changes, laser treatments Preparing prescriptions To be considered for our veterinary technician, CVT, RVT positions, please submit resume.
Salary DOE (depends on experience) and is negotiable.
