Business Valuation Analyst

The Griffing Group is seeking a Senior Associate who will provide valuation analysis for M&A/shareholder litigation, corporate and estate planning, and other high-profile engagements involving business valuation and economic damages.

Responsibilities Performing financial analyses and building valuation models Conducting economic and industry research Participating in due diligence interviews with corporate executive Reviewing legal filings and developing theories of damages with senior staff and clients/attorneys Preparing valuation reports and expert witness reports Delivering presentations to clients/attorneys Assisting with business development and marketing activities Required Qualifications Two or more years of work experience in business valuation Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or economics, or a similar field Eligibility to work in the U.
S.
without an employer-sponsored visa Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Preferred) Graduate degree in related field and/or professional credential (e.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
