We are currently seeking an Administrative Milieu Coordinator (AMC) for Riveredge Hospital.

Under the immediate supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing and reporting to the RN House Supervisor, the AMC provides leadership to the nursing and therapy staff in a milieu setting in the direct care and management of patients as prescribed by the physician, therapist, and the treatment team.
The primary function will be to assist staff with patient care interventions including but not limited to early patient and milieu de-escalation, responding to codes, modeling and training CPI techniques, mentoring staff in the handling of patients, and ensuring the behavior motivation plan is implemented consistently using age-specific guidelines.
Qualifications Requires at least two years of experience in a psychiatric treatment setting with children and adolescents.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Maintain annual CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention /intervention (CPI) certification.
Must have knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation services and Special Treatment Procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates an understanding of age-specific therapeutic interventions.
Recommended Skills Cpr Communication First Aid And Preparedness Health Care Leadership Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
