In your role as a Literacy Luminary, you'll be the guiding star in our mission.
Your compass? To sort and package donated books, ensuring that they embark on their next journey to our non-profit partners as swiftly and accurately as possible.
Responsibilities:
Expertly categorize and curate books based on varying criteria (genre, age group, etc.
).
Securely package books ready for their next adventure with our non-profit partners.
Keep meticulous records of all book arrivals and departures.
Collaborate effectively with fellow luminaries to navigate any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
Eagle-eyed attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift packages up to 30 lbs - our books need strong escorts! Clear and effective communication skills.
A burning passion for literacy, education, and community service.
Experience in a similar role is a bonus, but not necessary - we believe in guiding stars, not past constellations.
